Ancient sea life from the cliffs of the surf coast of Victoria detail an ecosystem quite unlike any that exists today. The animals that lived here 25 million years ago included animals we would recognise and many we would not. They included sharks the size of buses, dolphins with spears for teeth and tiny, toothy relatives of the largest animals of all time, the baleen whales. Palaeontologist and Ruairidh Duncan will showcase the latest discoveries from this region that were uncovered during and as part of his recently completed PhD.
