Ruairidh Duncan

Ruairidh Duncan is a vertebrate palaeontologist and palaeoartist from Scotland who resides in Melbourne/Naarm.

They have recently submitted their PhD investigating the toothed ancestors of baleen whales from throughout the Pacific.

They have worked on and illustrated animals as disparate as dinosaurs, sharks and marine reptiles. Their favourite animal is the humpback whale.
