  • Woolamai Beach SLSC Club House, Woolamai Beach Road Cape Woolamai, VIC, 3925 (map)

Presentation

Hear from local researchers about the whales of Victoria and how to spot them while enjoying the magnificent views of Cape Woolamai. This presentation will cover what kinds of whales we expect to see around Victoria, the best tips and tricks for spotting them and how to become a citizen scientist by reporting your sightings.

Following the 50-minute presentation, our researchers will lead a 30-minute guided whale-spotting experience where you can engage with our team to discuss all things marine with them. Inside the Cape Woolamai Lifesaving Club, our education team will host kids' activities with real whale bones, sounds, and games.

Kiosk open to purchase coffee and snacks throughout the day.
