Recreating Ancient Sea Life with Palaeontologits

  • Berninneit - Co working space (upstairs) 91-97 Thompson Avenue Cowes VIC 3922 Australia (map)

Join in this fun, hands-on drawing activity, children and young adults will reconstruct some of the most famous and terrifying prehistoric whales and sharks that ever lived in Victoria.

Utilising up-to-date scientific knowledge, participants will slowly flesh out prehistoric animals by adding muscles and skin to a 2-dimensional fossil skull provided to them on paper.

Palaeontologists Ben Francischelli and Ruairdh Duncan will showcase the available evidence that has been collected across Victoria, the newest discoveries in 2025 and 2026 and teach participants about Victoria’s ancient world of whales and sharks! These sessions will sell out quickly, so be sure to sign up now!
