Whales have been an integral part of oceanic ecosystems for over fifty million years and today represent the most massive creatures of all time and some of the most intelligent species on the planet. Palaeontologist Ruairidh Duncan will tell the tale of how a small, hooved animal in what are today's Himalayas gave rise to the most spectacular lineage there is and what weird and wacky forms its descendants took along the way to becoming the leviathans we know and love today.
Suitable for all ages.
