Fiona Kennedy's large canvas oil paintings have been described as ‘Art from the Heart’.
Over 20 years, Fiona has developed a unique style and personal language of symbols and metaphors that explore her life experiences and connection to nature, something that is uniquely expressed through her work and undeniably felt when in the presence of her artwork.
Her inspirations come from all reflections on the human condition spanning across topics including identity, happiness, love, loss, family and our connections to nature. Behind every one of Fiona’s paintings is a story of nature, symbolism, love and life.
Fiona’s work has gained international and local recognition, with paintings being commissioned and sought after by private collectors around the world. In 2020, she released her first book, LIFE Through the Heart of Fiona Kennedy, which documented her collection of work to date and told the personal stories behind each painting.
Her art gallery & studio is open to the public in Inverloch, on the South Gippsland coast of Victoria, Australia. Here, you’ll find Fiona engrossed in her large scale artworks surrounded by a beautiful bushy, sea air landscape. You’ll be welcomed with a smile and a 'please feel free to wander' and will leave feeling like you have found an old friend
